Things had been getting tense. She wasn't surprised, not with the state of the world and their involvement in it, but it made something as simple as every day life just a little bit more difficult. It was getting more and more obvious to anyone who paid attention that not everyone necessarily agreed with one another on what they should be doing, and the truth of the matter was that Raven was slowly starting to come around to Erik's way of thinking.
Not that she was going to go around bragging about that, or anything. She knew better than to open her mouth about something like that. After all, she'd been hiding her whole life; one more secret wasn't going to kill her.
It just meant that she was spending a little bit more time alone, training by herself instead of with some of the others. She needed the space, she needed the time to think without anyone's outside influence. Especially Erik or Charles'. She was outside that day for that very reason, her blue skin warmed under the sun; she didn't want to have to focus on holding the mask up the whole time, not when there were other things to think about as she ran around the grounds, offering a smile to anyone who passed by.
